2010 NZCT National Touch Championships in association with Waitakere City Council and ZM – Today’s Hit Music
This is the pinnacle of Touch in NZ and over the next 6 days (March 1 – March 6) 75 teams from all over the country will battle it out in various grades for the coveted title of National Champions.
This year we have over 30% more teams entered and this is a result of the reinstatement of the international programme between NZ and Australia. Touch NZ and Touch Football Australia have developed a Trans Tasman Series that will see our two countries meet every year in the Open grades and every second year in the Youth and Masters grades.
There is a lot to play for at these Nationals with 3 key international tournaments coming up
-
Masters Trans Tasman June 2010 – Townsville Australia
-
Youth Trans Tasman January 2011 – Australia
-
Open World Cup June 2011 – Edinburgh, Scotland
The selectors will be naming
-
6 Masters teams from over 30 years age groups to Over 50 year age groups
