The Level 2 AFL Coaching Course is perfect for those coaches who would like to have a genuine interest in developing thier coaching skills. The course requires according to the AFL Website: with a live-in workshop with a review day at the end of the season. Around 30 hours of course work is required in addition to practical involvement. Skills involve practical, hands-on involvement of participants. Focussing on preparing a coach to plan, prepare, conduct, review and adapt a year-long program of coaching.
This scholarship kindly provided by the AFL is for female coaches only, so please make sure you have read the criteria first to prevent embarrassment.
Latest news: The scholarship has now been improved by now increasing assistance to the popular AFL National Coaching Conference (i think in Melbourne for 2011) for an overall value of $1000.

In NSW, the Level 2 Course will be held in 13-14 Feb in Canberra or 20-21 Feb at Blacktown or 6-7 Nov at Moore Park.
