Katrina Off to the US
Katrina Vogelzang aged 17 years has a received a commitment from a United States college. Although Katrina has had FIVE Division 1 offers she decided to accept California University of Pennsylvania which is a very highly ranked Division 2 college and this weekend heads to take up that position. Katrina played with Benalla, Eltham Vic Country and lately was instrumental as a team member for the Shepparton Lady Gators being nominated for five awards during the 2009 Big V Season, and was awarded All Star 5, Rising Star, and Leading Scorer. She came in as a runner up in the MVP as well.
Katrina has been a leading light for the Lady Gators over the last two years and Greater Shepparton Basketball Association wish her all the best for her future in the U.S.
